Today was a banner day! We found our first "new" egg from one of the new laying hens. We should be on track for starting to sell eggs in the middle of August. We also moved our meat chicks outside and they are now happily munching clover in the new chicken-mobile which will keep them safe from predators and move around the farm to fresh grass every few days. These chickens will start putting on weight quickly and should be ready by mid- September.

Good for you getting your chickens outdoors!! That's what all chickens should have. I'm paying your farm a visit in search for local pastured animals!
