As Summer Session draws to a close, I'm looking forward to getting back to more "farm" work. We'll be making hay this weekend as we seem to finally have a good stretch of weather. Contact us if you'd like to buy some out of the field. We're expecting a hay shortage this spring due to the lousy hay-making weather we've had this summer, so stock up now.
Today marks the beginning of the Granby Agriculture Committee's film series at Holcomb Farm. The Film "King Corn" will be shown and will be preceeded by a corn roast. Local farmers will also be selling Granby grown products. Suggested donation for the event is $3 per person. I hope to see you there.
