Welcome to Maple View Farm's blog -- designed to keep people up-to-date on what's happening at Maple View.    The beautiful weather of spring has made us very busy now.  We just cut our first test batch of hay to make sure the tractors and equipment is ready to start the season.  Keep a look out here to see when we start selling hay -- either out of the fields, or from our barn.  We are gearing up for Summer Session, looking forward to another great summer.  This year we've added a 6th week at the beginning of August.  There are still slots available, and you can download a signup form by clicking on the SUMMER SESSION tab at right.

We will be giving mini-horseback riding lessons at Celebrate Granby on June 13 and Holcomb Farm's Spring Celebration on June 14.  We hope you'll come find us.

Egg production is on the rise here, as we have 17 chicken chicks (adding to the 7 hens that already make up our flock) who will be ready to lay at the end of the summer.  Our turkey poults have arrived and are already growing big in our hoop house.  We hope you will leave your questions or comments here.  I will reply if needed as soon as possible!
