On 50 acres in the center of Granby, CT, Maple View Farm is home to horses, cows, goats, pigs and chickens in addition to the farmers who, for 3 generations, have lived on and farmed the property. Founded in 1950, the farm has been a dairy, provided pony rides and today continues to board horses, offer horseback riding lessons and weekly summer sessions to kids. The pastured-based operation provides meat, veggies, eggs and other local products to their neighbors through the Farm Store on the property. The Boglis are committed to taking care of their 50 acres of land in the center of town so it can be farmed by their own children and grandchildren for years to come.
PEOPLE ARE SAYING...
"A shout out to Kate at Maple View. My daughter Jenna started learning to ride with her. Kate's beginner program is great, she teaches safety, horsemanship, and basic equitation. Jenna has just started some more advanced lessons with a new trainer, and her new instructor complemented Jenna (and Kate) on how nice it was to have no bad habits to break, just solid fundamentals to build on!"
"Yum yum yum! My whole household had the flu last week -- I ate the liver, shank bone broth and I NEVER GOT SICK! Thank you!"
"After you've been eating Maple View Farm's grass fed beef, eating burgers out is just not the same!"
"My daughter so enjoyed her time at your Summer Session last summer that she has chosen to sign up for it AGAIN this year and not do the GS Camp that she had previously chosen. Plus, she had such a good time that now her sister has decided to attend Summer Session, too!"
