Summer Session offers an opportunity for beginner students 6-12 years old to learn horsemanship and farm skills through games and activities. Students will be divided into small groups for mounted and unmounted lessons on how to tack up a horse; name the parts of the horse, saddle and bridle; daily care for all of the farm animals. Maple View Farm is focused on safety, maintaining a low counselor to student ratio during mounted activities. Walk trails, ride horses, feed animals, play games, make friends, Summer Session offers an opportunity for students to learn at every turn.

NEW! SESSION HOURS FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS 3-6 9:30-11:30AM M-F $125
Pre-school aged children 3-6 years old will learn similar skills in a separate group. A short, instructive, ride on one of our ponies will be included in their lessons.

WELCOME TO MAPLE VIEW FARM
Located in Granby, CT and founded in 1950, the horse farm consists of over 50 acres of land. The farm offers boarding, leases and beginner horseback riding lessons in addition to hay and Christmas Tree sales seasonally. Three generations of Boglis work the farm handing down knowledge of horse care from generation to generation.
