Earn your Cub Scout Belt Loop and Pin OR Girl Scout Horse Fan Badge
Come with your whole den/troop. In this 2 hour program, riders will learn basics of grooming, tacking up and riding horses at our fun hands-on clinic. Topics covered will include horse colors and markings, names of saddle and horse parts, learning to lead a horse plus the basics of riding a horse at the walk, trot and halt. Scouts should wear long pants, a boot with a heel, and weather appropriate attire. Dress to be outside and get dirty. FIELD TRIPS
E-mail us to schedule a visit for your pre-school or kindergarten class. 1 1/2 hr programs will get kids walking and exploring out and about on the farm to meet our animals, see where they live, talk about what they eat and learn how we care for them. We will read stories, play games and best of all: get dirty! Field trip cost is $20/kid with a 10 kid minimum.
