SUMMER SESSION 2010 -- THANK YOU! 2011 SESSION DATES WILL BE POSTED IN JANUARY
Summer Session offers an opportunity for beginner students 6-12 years old to learn horsemanship and farm skills through games and activities. Students will be divided into small groups for mounted and unmounted lessons on how to tack up a horse; name the parts of the horse, saddle and bridle; daily care for all of the farm animals. Maple View Farm is focused on safety, maintaining a low counselor to student ratio during mounted activities. Walk trails, ride horses, feed animals, play games, make friends, Summer Session offers an opportunity for students to learn at every turn. NEW! SESSION HOURS FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS 3-6
Pre-school aged children 3-6 years old will learn similar skills in a separate group. A short, instructive, ride on one of our ponies will be included in their lessons.
